Shocks

$429.00
The Monarch's lightweight design not only delivers silky smooth travel, but thanks to a redesigned Solo Air spring with updated damping controls, it also delivers a spring rate you’d generally only get from a much heavier coil shock. Monarch floats through bumps even better than before, turning rugged trails into tire-gripping velvet. The chassis is lean while maintaining the durability and adjustability needed to bite off huge chunks of burly trail action and epic cross country. The Monarch RT3 features external rebound and 3-Position compression adjustment (Open/Pedal/Lock). - Intended Use: XC, Trail - Rapid Recovery allows the shock to recovery faster between consecutive bumps, letting the wheel track the ground with greater precision - SoloAir spring lets you add air to your forks through a single Schrader valve, filling both the positive and negative air spring chambers simultaneously - Fast Black hard anodized, forged aluminum body with sag gradients - 10mm 7075 aluminum shaft - Autosag is a simple set-up feature available only on Specialized bicycles. This feature utilizes the rider's weight to set proper shock pressure

Suspension is all about control and Cane Creek's DBcoil Damper has it. This rear damper is loaded with the adjustability you need to tailor rear suspension characteristics to your riding style, bike, and local trails. An extensive tuning range includes high- and low-speed compression and high- and low-speed rebound. Where does the Double Barrel name come from? Cane Creek's Double Barrel technology circulates oil continuously through the valving to achieve highly controllable, independent damping for both compression and rebound strokes so the shock retains its plushness and sensitivity from the top to the bottom of the trail, no matter how long the descent.
