We were the shop sponsor and our duty was to bring the booty. Booty is another word for pirates’ treasure. So we got hooked up fat through Deity, Transition, Troy Lee Designs, Norco, and Diamondback. This helped the guys from the NW Cup have a killer raffle. We set up in the pit area and sold Go Huck Yourself gear while the boys went to shred Dry Hill. By the end of the weekend we had the Cat 1 19-29 podium looking strong with a 1st from Leonarduzzi and 3rd from Chalcraft. Racing is not the only thing our guys do well. Lucas Chalcraft won the crowds minds and hearts with the Huck to Flat contest. Matt Johns Ritter Overby Forrester also won some praise by tumbling up the hill in an all out sprint for the all out swag dash. All in all a pretty good weekend. Next time maybe someone will stick around and help me with the clean up.

Duzzi Race Report – NW Cup #2

This race had a lot to offer. It was a combination of the Grand Prix, Pro GRT, and NWCUP. There were riders from across the globe that came out and even a few big world cup guys. It was an eye opener seeing these guys hit the same track that I raced. It was cool seeing the overall speed and line choice and was a definite lifter. I had all the tools in hand to do well at this race. Ate the proper food, may have taken a couple more runs each day then I should have but, its all a learning experience. This weekend I ended up 2nd place to Victor Smith. Victor and I are tied for points at the moment! Going to be some tight racing! So its time to get back to training and get ahead and lead the overall.

This was obviously last year. But it just shows that there is hope for summer in the future. Remember riding in the sun and feeling warm all the time. I do and cant wait for the sprung of spring.
