Duthie Step Up Session

Good little test session. Getting used to throwing tricks of a huge step up is a little weird. Gotta throw that stuff early! It didnt stop Phil Sundbaum and others from going big.

We should be out at our trail on Sunday doing major work getting ready for the June 11th one year Duthie Anniversary. So stop by and give us a hand on Sunday…not sure what time (the trail starts right between Ryans and Big Trees’ lines).

Kelly McGarry, Shawn Wilson and I trekked down to Bend in the Snow and Hail IN MAY! Even though it was marginal weather we had a rippin’ time! The jumps were sick and everyone was riding good. Thanks for putting the contest on Jamie and cant wait to come back. I suggest if your in Bend try to hook up and ride at his house. Sorry Mr. Goldman if you get a bunch of stray kids pounding on your door

Biggest two guys in freestyle mtb

By size alone these two guys are huge! I am in the middle and standing at 6’2″ (A.J. Johnson). Phil Sundbaum (now working at the shop) and Kelly McGarry (stopping by to say whats up). Kelly got his bike dialed in for the road trip with Phil and the contest down at Goldmans UDUG 2011. In a couple weeks they should be back and might have a good session out at Duthie and local parks. Stay Tuned!

Jungle Trails!

Yesterday I headed out to the Jungle Trails with Phil Sundbaum and Shawn Wilson to go ride some of the best trails in the area. It was Phil’s first time out to the trails and Shawn’s second time out.

Phil was stoked on the trails as well Shawn. We met up with Damien when we got there and started riding. The trails were damp but running great. They weren’t too fast and they weren’t slow. It took Phil and Shawn a couple of runs to get them figured out, but they got ‘em and we had a little jam session going. About an hour after we got there Luke Strobel and Keith Thompson showed up. We rode the trails for a few hours before heading home. It was a bit cold but all in all it was a good day at the trails. Looking forward to the next time at the trails!
