More local trails that are hidden

Friday, November 18th, 2011

These things are soooo dialed. I know that they have a serious crew that puts in countless hours. Just check out how amazingly smooth the dirt is at this place. Young kids take this as a challenge….find a spot and dig. Dig a lot!

2nd Annual Halloween Race at Tapeworm

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

This event is Sponsored by Wheels for Life and Go Huck Yourself / g.h.y. bikes. It is going to be a pretty rad time once again. I am assured by Travis Erickson and Jill Kintner that the course is fast and tacky. This is going to be rain or shine and costumes are highly recommended and required for racing.

A $5 donation is all you have to bring for the BBQ and racing. Any profits will be donated to Wheels for Life. This is a great organization that gives bikes to qualified people in Africa! So turn out or you miss out.

There will be several classes…depending on turnout we will put you with the appropriate level of riders. BMX class is possible so show your numbers and come out.

Sign Ups: 10-11 a.m.

Race: 11:30-4 p.m.

Entry Fee: $5 Donation

Location: 1424 Grant Ave S, Renton, WA 98055 (Look for the trail that goes up the hill.)

Awards will follow shortly after the jam session has ended. We will also have a BBQ going during the jam as usual.

See you guys then!

Norco Slopestyle Bike….NOT the Empire 5

Thursday, October 6th, 2011

The Norco Empire 5 is my favorite bike.  It is not only my favorite bike it is my favorite for the past 5 years or so.  Thats why it saddened me when they pulled it from the line in 2012.  But alas my friend…look out to the horizon and there is hope.  Sneak peak of their NEW Slopestyle bike.

Interbike Day #2

Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

More tired feet…..Tons of parts to look at.  It all turns into one big blur.  We did see some Lamborghini and Ferraris in Vegas.  That is not unusual but the ones we saw were!  Also some other high end bikes were the Carbon Intense and Norco rigs. E Thirteen / The Hive is starting to do pedals, cranks, and who knows what else.
