Go Huck Yourself is proud to announce that we have raised $700 towards the Wheels 4 Life foundation. We did this in conjunction with Phil Sundbaum and all of your help. We had a great raffle thanks to all the sponsors listed in the video! We had Tony Archibeque JR. to thank for the pics and video.
Unfortunately both of our events went on at the same time. I wish I was there…in the jungle. The jumps look sooo nice & the style is not so bad either.
Team Robot is down to party. Charlie has been rippin the trails and is always an interesting cat. I remember a Go Huck Yourself Jam where he wore a full on sweater. He might have had some 24″ Tuff Wheels too. Crazy kids.
So this race is definitely one of the best spectacles on earth. The list of crazy things are as follows…Race, Beer, Jousting (on double decker bikes), BMX jumping, bands playing, fire, pedals powered rides, burlesque bike riders and I am sure I forgot something. So the shop will close at 5:00 on Friday the 5th of August.
I was up there for the first half of Crankworx and was able to catch just a little of the action. The highlight for the crew was watching some of the top guys session Crabapple Hits on Monday the 18th. Duncan Riffle, Tyler McCaul, Andreu Lecondeguy, Brendan Fairclough, and others were killing the new and improved jumps. The whip contest was a little later in the week but for now enjoy the short little edit!
Fenwick Jam goes off everytime. Most of it is just here say since I miss it always. Just sayin that the NW throws down but everyone wants to keep it hush hush. But once u know then its on like donkey kong. Get payed people.
Good little test session. Getting used to throwing tricks of a huge step up is a little weird. Gotta throw that stuff early! It didnt stop Phil Sundbaum and others from going big.
We should be out at our trail on Sunday doing major work getting ready for the June 11th one year Duthie Anniversary. So stop by and give us a hand on Sunday…not sure what time (the trail starts right between Ryans and Big Trees’ lines).
This is a new high for Go Pro videos. Check out this years post office jam. Some bangers with Ryan Nyquist running a camera for a minute. Check out the barspin master at work!
We sponsored this years winning HPPV (Human Powered Paper Vehicle)…I know a little nerdy but this bike was cool. I am a little nerdy anyway. These guys (GRCC) made a pretty dialed bike with working forks. They kicked everyone’s ass while setting a new course record.
Kelly McGarry, Shawn Wilson and I trekked down to Bend in the Snow and Hail IN MAY! Even though it was marginal weather we had a rippin’ time! The jumps were sick and everyone was riding good. Thanks for putting the contest on Jamie and cant wait to come back. I suggest if your in Bend try to hook up and ride at his house. Sorry Mr. Goldman if you get a bunch of stray kids pounding on your door
