Oly International November 23rd SST

Monday, November 17th, 2008

This Sunday is going to be another non sactioned fun race at SST.  The course has been worked up by the boys and should run about a minute twenty.  We will just have a fun time with a small entry fee and a BBQ.  Probably something like $5 and bring a 5 not a 20.  Come and enjoy the festivities.  Sponsors include:  Nobody.  Non Sanctioned and Non affiliated.  Come and have fun…racing starts around 11:00 AM.  Practice anytime before that I would guess.  Tell your friends and stuff.

NOVEMBER 12th……….Open House Trails & Bicycle Master Plan & Map
Join Renton area bicyclists, walkers and other trail users by participating in a public open house. This event will be a great opportunity for you to review and provide comments on the existing and proposed trail systems and bike routes in and around Renton. Participants will also have the opportunity to review information regarding usage patterns and to review draft additions or modifications to goals and policies relating to trails. For more information contact: John D. (Dan) Hasty, Civil Engineer, City of Renton Transportation Systems Division; phone (425) 430-7246.

Colored Spokes

Sunday, November 9th, 2008

We just got some colored, stainless spokes in and they look pretty cool. They come in Green, Red, Gold, Blue, and of course Black and Stainless. We just built an Atomlab/Sun wheelset using the gold spokes. The wheelset retails for $400. They look good. Here’s some pics.

Pretty cool. Let us know if you want to pick some up. Act soon because these look good.

On a side note, if you wanted a random word at any time of day, you should check out the Random Word Generator. http://watchout4snakes.com/creativitytools/RandomWord/RandomWord.aspx . The word I got was initialization. Pretty interesting. If you feel like you got slightly stupider from reading the end of this post, I’m sorry… Parenthesis, timing, and release were the last three words I just got… Sorry again.
